Dr. Spinuzzi has experience providing psychodiagnostic assessments to children and adolescents with a broad range of mental health concerns. She completed training in community mental health setting where she was known for her interest in trauma disorders alongside ability to connect with adolescents. She has worked alongside educators, therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists within Orange and Los Angeles counties.
Dr. Spinuzzi has experience working with foster youth cases, complex trauma as well as treating anxiety and depressive disorders.
Dr. Spinuzzi is a very warm individual who aims to provide a connective and enlightening experience for her patients through providing clarity regarding the impact trauma has on various areas of functioning within all areas, specifically the educational setting.
She has extensive training In behavioral management strategies and treating complex trauma. Specifically has received training through UC Davis Medical Center in evidence-based trauma treatment and trauma-informed treatment such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
